Journalist
Shannan is a respected journalist in the beauty world. In 2023, she was a finalist for Rising Star in the prestigious Jasmine Fragrance Writing Awards for an editorial feature she wrote for Harrods, Trending Oud Scents to Try Immediately.
She currently contributes to fast-growing beauty magazine Live That Glow, where she writes thought-provoking opinion features with original interviews. She covered London Fashion Week Autumn/Winter 2024 for Live That Glow, which included sitting front row at multiple shows and heading backstage to interview leading make-up artists and hair stylists for a trend-focussed write-up.
Shannan has also written for an array of other editorial titles including Women’s Wear Daily, DARE, Red, and You & Your Wedding. She specialises in beauty and fashion, but has also covered travel, lifestyle and hospitality.
Shannan has a degree in Journalism (BA) Hons, is certified in Teeline shorthand (up to 80 WPM) and has studied media law.
